It was a thrilling night of World Cup dressage at Olympia with a dead heat between Charlotte Dujardin and Germany\u2019s Frederic Wandres.<\/p>\n

‘Magical’<\/h2>\n

Both riders were awarded 80.03% in the sixth leg of the FEI Dressage World Cup Western European League. However, Frederic and the aptly named Duke of Britain achieved higher artistic marks, and were announced the winners.<\/p>\n

“To reach the magical 80% is a real wow for me,” said Frederic, who was making his Olympia debut.<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old only posted his first big international win at\u00a0the FEI Dressage World Cup qualifier in Poland two months ago, but is\u00a0rapidly rising to the top of his sport.<\/p>\n

‘More to come’<\/h2>\n

Charlotte was riding Carl Hester\u2019s ride Hawtins Delicato as her top ride Mount St John Freestyle is recovering from a cough.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was really happy with Delicato, he\u2019s a young inexperienced horse,\u201d said Charlotte, who also came second in the Grand Prix<\/a> the night before. \u201cI rode him as a youngster through small tour levels and he did his first grand prix in January and then Carl took over the ride.<\/p>\n

\u201cI literally got on him three weeks ago. I didn\u2019t know what to expect from him in this environment and I\u2019m pleased with our clear round, there\u2019s so much more to come from him.\u201d<\/p>\n
