{"id":38953,"date":"2020-06-30T10:48:52","date_gmt":"2020-06-30T09:48:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/horseandcountry.tv\/?p=38953"},"modified":"2020-06-30T10:49:18","modified_gmt":"2020-06-30T09:49:18","slug":"oeasa-audition-guide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/press.horseandcountry.tv\/en-us\/oeasa-audition-guide\/","title":{"rendered":"Enter Omega Equine All Star Academy now"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Auditions are now open for Series 3 of All Star Academy.<\/p>\n<p>Fill in the <a href=\"\/oeasa-entry-form\/\"><strong>entry form<\/strong><\/a> once you have read the following guidelines carefully to ensure your audition video meets our spec.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How do I enter?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Introduce yourself and your horse in a short audition video, and tell us why you would like to take part in the Omega Equine All Star Academy.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The audition video should feature you talking directly to camera with your horse in shot \u2013 although some additional footage of you riding is a bonus.<\/li>\n<li>You don\u2019t need to be the next Spielberg but you should aim for good sound (use a microphone, and avoid wind or background noise). Hold the camera steady, or even better, get someone to film you. Choose a good location \u2013 it\u2019s a bit distracting if you audition next to a sign for the toilets!<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t use music at all. We will not be able to accept your audition.<\/li>\n<li>Your audition video should be between 1-2 minutes but must be <strong>no\u00a0longer than two minutes <\/strong>otherwise it won&#8217;t be accepted.\u00a0Be as creative as you like \u2013 we\u2019ll be impressed if you include some basic video editing and showcase your vlogging abilities.<\/li>\n<li>You must be wearing a riding hat if you are riding the horse and it must be fitted.<\/li>\n<li>Let your personality shine through! We\u2019re looking for confident, outgoing people who will be engaging to watch as part of the show.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To see what we\u2019re looking for,\u00a0<a href=\"\/previous-finalists-for-all-star-academy\/\"><strong>watch the audition vide<\/strong><strong>os<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0submitted by the contestants in the previous shows.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How do I submit my video?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>You must submit your audition video as a YouTube link. To do this, you will need to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/youtube\/answer\/161805?hl=en&amp;ref_topic=3024170\">create a YouTube account<\/a>\u00a0(if you don\u2019t already have one) and then upload your audition video to your account.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Make sure your video is titled with your first and last name only.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once uploaded, copy and paste the link of your YouTube audition video into the entry form.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/youtube\/answer\/57407?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&amp;hl=en\">Click here<\/a>\u00a0for help on how to upload a video to YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>You must submit your audition by\u00a0<strong>midnight on Monday 6 August 2018<\/strong>.
