London, United Kingdom – March 10th, 2022 – Leading international equestrian sports network Horse & Country (H&C) today announced the return of its top-rating show of all time, All Star Academy (ASA). The ever-popular series will feature eight hopeful riders competing for the crown of All Star Champion and the opportunity to host their own YouTube series and become an official H&C social media ambassador.
As ever, ASA will be filmed at Talland under the watchful eye of Pammy Hutton who will put the competitors through their paces in her inimitable fashion. H&C’s Jenny Rudall will present the series and is joined by a new member of the team this year. Former ASA competitor and high-profile social media personality, Tina Wallace (aka Life on the Left Rein), will be covering events backstage and maybe sharing a tip or two on what it takes to catch the eye of the judges.
As well as favourite features such as the daily challenges, the Diary Room and a host of celebrity judges and guests, viewers can also expect some all-new innovations including, for the first time ever, eliminations. After each task, the contestant at the bottom of the leaderboard will leave the show. On the final day the four survivors will battle it out for the title in ASA’s unique version of a One-Day Event.
There will also be big changes in the run-up to the series. The contestants will be introduced to the world in a live launch on social media in July. And, as if the stress of competing in front of Pammy isn’t enough, they’ll be asked to complete some challenges on video prior to their arrival at Talland, so that viewers can get to know them, and pick their favourite, well in advance of the series launch.

Series 4 of ASA, as with all of the previous series, will be produced for H&C by Lizzie Greenwood Hughes’s company Harkaway Media. The call for audition videos will go out on H&C’s social media and the competition is bound to be hot, so no time like the present to start thinking about your pitch to the producers.
ASA will premiere on H&C’s streaming service, H&C+, this Autumn.
