Helen Langehanenberg will be hosting this year’s British Dressage (BD) National Convention at Hartpury College in Gloucestershire(8-9 November).
Methods and ethos
The world number twodressage rider is known for her partnership with Damon Hill. Together they have won a string of medals, including team silver at London 2012, and team gold and two individual silvers at both the 2013 European Championships and the 2014 World Equestrian Games.
Helen will be sharing her training methods and ethos, which are firmly routed in the classic principals and scales of training.

“German riders have always been at the forefront of international dressage and Helen is a part of a new wave of success on the world stage,” said David Hunt, BD’s outgoing training director.
“It will be fascinating to hear her training ethos and what it takes to get the best from herself and her horses. I don’t think she’s visited the UK in this capacity before, so we’re lucky to have this opportunity.”
