Horse & Country (H&C), the leading international equestrian sports network, is pleased to announce the launch of its advertising supported network on Samsung TV Plus in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Fans of equestrian sports who own a Samsung Smart TV (all new models since 2016), will have unprecedented access to an exciting line up of equestrian programming, including exclusive training and educational shows, entertainment and documentary series on channel 4534. Over the coming weeks, viewers can enjoy highlights coverage from the Longines Global Champions Tour in Berlin, Madrid and Valkenswaard, the CCI5* in Luhmühlen, Germany and the CHIO Rotterdam. Documentaries, Taming Wild and The Ride – Race the Wild Coast, as well as entertainment with Daisy Dines With, H&C’s popular equestrian culinary show, add to the varied line-up of programming.
Viewers will also have access to an on demand (VoD) offering featuring master classes with top international riders including Ingrid Klimke and Isabell Werth, the sports magazine series, RIDE and the reality show, Omega Equine All Star Academy.
Samsung TV Plus gives viewers instant access to top news, sports, entertainment, and more. It is 100 percent free and does not require any download, sign-up, use of credit cards, subscriptions or additional devices.

The launch represents an extension of Horse & Country’s distribution with Samsung, the channel already being available on Samsung TV Plus in the UK and Australia. In addition the channel will be available in Germany on the Samsung TV Plus mobile app and it will also be available on the Samsung TV Plus mobile in Austria and Switzerland from the 30th of June.
H&C’s technology provider Amagi prepared delivery of the H&C network for the Samsung platform.
