Horse & Country and British Dressage announce landmark three-year partnership extension through to 2028

[London, UK – 05.03.2026] — Horse & Country (H&C), the leading international equestrian sports network, and British Dressage (BD), the national governing body for dressage in the UK, have announced a landmark three-year extension of their strategic partnership. This sees Horse & Country secured as British Dressage’s preferred streaming and production partner through to the end of 2028.

The renewed agreement represents a major long-term commitment from British Dressage and reflects the strength and success of the partnership since its inception in 2021. Over that time, Horse & Country has delivered a consistent flow of live and on-demand dressage coverage – including more than 55,000 streams from 25 British Dressage events in 2025 alone – alongside extensive international championship coverage.

Long-term stability and global visibility for British Dressage

Under the extended partnership, Horse & Country will continue to provide comprehensive live streaming and production across the British Dressage calendar, including the NAF Five Star Winter Championships, LeMieux National Championships, Premier Leagues, Area Festivals, High Profile Shows, and international CDIs.

This coverage will continue to reach audiences worldwide via Horse & Country’s streaming platform H&C+, linear television channel, and global distribution partners – ensuring British Dressage remains visible to both core participants and wider sports audiences.

Jason Brautigam, Chief Executive Officer, British Dressage, said:
“Horse & Country has become an integral partner in how we share dressage with our members and the wider equestrian community. Their knowledge, expertise and production standards have helped elevate the visibility of British Dressage competitions at every level of the sport.

This new three-year agreement provides important continuity for the future growth and development of dressage, ensuring our athletes, events, and members will continue to benefit from H&C’s first class coverage.”

Building on the success of original series storytelling

A key element of the partnership has been the development of original programming – designed to deepen engagement and showcase the diversity and accessibility of the sport.

One such original series – produced by 2025’s partnership – Every Horse Can Dance, resonated strongly with audiences by highlighting the personal stories behind dressage and the breadth of participation across different horse breeds; each with their own unique challenges to bettering a harmonious sporting performance.

As part of the extended agreement, Horse & Country will continue to invest in original series production aligned with British Dressage’s strategic priorities.

Jonathan Rippon, Director of Content, Horse & Country, said:
“Our partnership with British Dressage is built on a shared ambition to showcase the sport at all levels; from grassroots participation through to elite international competition.

Over the past four years, we’ve worked together to deliver consistent, high-quality coverage and original programming that brings the stories of dressage to life. This new agreement allows us to build on that momentum and continue investing in production, storytelling, and innovation that supports the sport’s growth.”

Aligning content, communications, and community priorities

Beyond live coverage, Horse & Country will continue to support British Dressage’s wider strategic objectives through integrated marketing, highlights programming, social content, and global broadcast exposure – helping grow audiences, drive event attendance and support membership recruitment.

Katie Allen-Clarke, Director of Marketing, Horse & Country, said:
“This partnership has always been about more than coverage – it’s about collaboration. We work closely with the British Dressage team to ensure our content, campaigns, and communications align with the key moments that matter most within their season, and reflect the evolving needs of their members and community.

By listening and responding carefully to their vision and priorities, we’re able to deliver storytelling and promotion that not only showcases the sport at its best, but helps strengthen its future.”
