Bolesworth International has been awarded four-star status following the success of its first FEI accredited show last year.
Major event
With £250,000 of prize money up for grabs, many of the world’s top riders are expected to attend this year’s event in the stunning grounds of Bolesworth Castle in Cheshire (18-21 June).
“This summer’s event promises to be even more exciting than last year, cementing our position as one of the major international equestrian events, creating a firm date in the summer calendar,” said Nina Barbour, show president and owner of the estate.
You can now watch all the action in the stunning all-weather arena from a new covered grandstand.
In addition to four days of showjumping, there will be displays, family-friendly activities – including a vintage fun fair, climbing wall and mini quad bikes – as well as a great selection trade stands. Then on Saturday night, Scouting for Girls with perform live.
Charity of the Year
This year’s chosen charity for the show is the British Horse Society (BHS), who will be on site throughout the event raising funds and awareness.
“We’re very excited to be a part of Bolesworth International and thrilled that they selected us to be their Equestrian Charity of the Year,” said Laura Pepper, fundraising director at the BHS.
“As the show continues to grow, attracting exciting competition and a great audience, we are going to enjoy talking about all of the charitable work that the BHS does to help horses and riders at all levels in this fantastic arena.’
