Horse & Country TV will be showing highlights of the action from this year’s Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials, Oxfordshire (11-14September).

We will broadcast extended highlights from Blenheim on Wednesday 24 September,presented by Jenny Rudall on her return from covering the World Equestrian Games.
Blenheim is one of the essential dates in the eventing calendar. As well as the flagship CCI3* competition, there’s also the hugely popular British Championships for eight- and nine-year-old horses (CIC3*).
Line-up
This year’s event looks set to include four of the Team GB riders from the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. William Fox-Pitt has four entries, including his 2012 Blenheim winner Seacookie. Tina Cook hastwo entries, while Britain’s two individual riders Oliver Townend and Nicola Wilson are both entered.
Another top British rider competing for the prestigious Blenheim titles will be Pippa Funnell. Pippa will be looking to stamp her authority as the top Blenheim rider to date with four wins to her name already.She has two entries, includingSecond Supremein the feature three-star class.
Oxfordshire’s Izzy Taylor, who like Pippa was unlucky to miss out on the World Equestrian Games, will ride at Blenheim, having entered Orlando.Francis Whittington andEasy Target will be looking to improve on this year’s successes and will be hungry for a big win at Blenheim.
International stars
A stellar international cast from 15 other nations are also set to compete and battle it out on the notoriously tough cross-country course.
Riders from New Zealand’s include Andrew Nicholson and Jock Paget, plus husband and wife Tim and Jonelle Price, while Australia’s Sam Griffiths and Paul Tapner will also be in attendance.
