The famous Upperville Colt and Horse Show in Virginia, is the oldest horse show in the USA. This year’s Upperville Colt and Horse Show will run from Monday, June 3 through Sunday, June 9, 2019.
Featuring FEI CSI4* show jumping competition and the prestigious World Championship Hunter Rider (WCHR) competition, this iconic event is an exciting attraction for competitors and spectators alike. Top show jumping action will take place throughout the week, as well as the ever-popular $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby on Saturday, June 8.
Celebrating its 165th anniversary, the show will culminate on Sunday, June 9 with the feature class of the day. This will be the $216,000 FEI 4* Upperville Jumper Classic, which starts at 2.30 p.m (EST). There is something for everyone at this showcase event. On Sunday, the event will also showcase the Horses & Horsepower Car Show , displaying classic automobiles from every era. There will also be a petting zoo and even thrilling Jack Russell Terrier races!
